Dear students,  

The essay topic for the final Language III exam on Wednesday, March 9^th, 2016 will be based on two short stories: Waiting and Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter. You should focus on Mr. Thompson in Waiting and on Mrs. Dutta in the other short story. Read the texts very carefully, especially Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter, which is longer and more complex.

Please, revise the notes on comparison and/or contrast and on cause-effect analysis. Don´t forget to review the outline layout and the connectors you should use for the different modes of development.

Because of the number of students enrolled to sit for the exam, we may have all the oral exams on Thursday, March 10^th.
