Dear students,  

The essay topic for the final Language III exam on Wednesday, November 30^th, 2016 will be based on The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. You should work on the effects of Charlie´s favourite aunt’s sexual abuse on him. Please read the text very carefully and visit our post on Sunday, April 10th, 2016, to review the ppp on cause-effect analysis.

For students who attended the course in 2015 or 2014, the essay topic will be mainly based on Chapter 6 of The Namesake, by Jumpa Lahiri. These students should review our notes on the comparison and contrast mode of development.

Don´t forget to review the outline layout and the connectors you should use for the different modes of development. You should also review our guidelines on introductory and concluding paragraphs.
