Dear students,

The essay topic for the final Language III exam on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 will be based on Interpreter of Maladies  by Jumpa Lahiri.

The mode of development we´ll ask you to use is cause or effect analysis. Please read the text carefully and take into account that we may ask you to focus on different aspects of the text.

Don´t forget to review our notes on cause-effect analysis, the outline layout, and the connectors you should use for the different modes of development. You should also review our guidelines on introductory and concluding paragraphs.

Please remember that on Monday, July 31st, and Tuesday, July 1st we WILL NOT answer questions related to the essay topic in office hours; nor will we check possible outlines.
